Hi! I’m Deanna, founder and principal designer of Lou Interiors.
Design has always been my way of telling stories.
My philosophy is simple: your home should be beautiful and practical all at once - as comfortable to live in as it is to look at. My aesthetic is relaxed yet refined: layered, personal, and grounded in that signature California ease. Flea markets are my happy place, and I love mixing one-of-a-kind finds with modern moments to create spaces that feel effortlessly cohesive.
With over a decade of experience in residential design (including being my own client - twice!), I’ve learned firsthand that great design is equal parts creativity and collaboration. The experience is rewarding, occasionally tricky, and always a little messy - which is why having someone to guide the process, problem-solve, and keep things light makes all the difference.
Behind the scenes, I keep things clear, structured, and stress-free so you always know what’s happening - and can focus on the fun part: watching your home come to life. You just need a design partner who can bring it all together with structure, intention, and a sense of fun.

From a single room refresh to a fully furnished home, I curate every detail - from furniture & décor, through sourcing, ordering, and installation - so your space is move-in ready (or move-back-in ready!) and effortlessly styled, without the stress.

Whether it’s one room or a full-home transformation, I reimagine layouts, materials, and finishes while working closely with you and your contractor, creating spaces that are more functional, beautiful, and uniquely yours than before we started.
New Construction
I collaborate closely with architects and builders to shape every detail of your home’s interiors - from layouts and finishes to lighting and furnishings - so the result is cohesive, intentional, and entirely tailored to you. And don’t worry, I’ll be there with the laughs (and maybe the wine) to ride all the highs and lows.
